Canadian employment was little changed, and the unemployment rate edges up to six-month high:

• Employment: -4.7K, concentrated in full-time (-18.1K), part-time up by +13.4K. Private sector -52.5K (first decline since February), public sector +49.6K (after four months of consecutive declines) and self-employment -1.8K.
• Unemployment rate: +0.2% to 6.7%, a second consecutive monthly increase.
