Canada Talent Market Monthly - 2018 Year In Review
In 2018, Canada saw the addition of +163,000 jobs, although at a slower pace of growth compared to the previous two years. Full-time employment increased by +185,000 while unemployment fell to 5.6% for the lowest recorded rate since 1976.
Highlights include strong job markets for Ontario and Western Canada due to gains in full-time work and the biggest increase in employment was seen in the service industries.
